Skinnyviking (9908) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 27, 2017
Draught at Frederik den VI. Low fluffy white lasting head. Hazy orange red body. Sour berries straw aroma. Sour berries lemon straw flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish. Wonder if the beer was infected?

Draft at the source. Clear caramel color, off white head. Aroma of toasted caramel. Taste is sweet caramel, subtle pepper, light body. OK.

From bottle. Darker orange colour, malty and fresh aroma. Malty taste with a little slight bit of hops. Nice

TorbenJensen (1602) - Valby, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2015
Beautiful orange golden beer with lovely persistent foam. The aroma is malty with a hint of a little fresh grass and sweet notes of honey. The taste is characterized by light roasted malt, honey and a hint of fruit acid (currant and pear?). Hop bitterness is withdrawn and very lightly seasoned, but just enough to carry the aftertaste long. Easily fermented aftertaste and appropriate fullness. Maybe a little too fruity for beer type.

Koelschtrinker (23070) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - APR 12, 2015
Süßlich malziger Antrunk mit deutlicher Karamellnote. Würzig frischer Mittelteil, geringe Herbe, sehr süffig. Gut! 11/11/11/11//11

500 ml bottle, thanks Timo A. Pours a dark amber orange colour with a small head. Aroma of grains, honey and some grassy notes. Flavour of grains, mild sweetness, pear, mild cardboardy notes and bitterness. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Sweet, not much else.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Pours clear orange color with a small rapidly dissipating head. Aroma of caramel malts, hay, yeast, some ripe fruit notes and bread. Bready malts and nuts on the flavor, caramel malts, some ripe fruits and yeast. Almost a Bock-like feel to it. Nice.

heavy (2932) - Split, CROATIA - MAR 22, 2010
05/03 Draught at the brewpub. It poured rod body with small, slightly off white head, exactly same as "Lager" I just had before. Sourish aroma, some unpasteurized hops, sweetish biscuit malty, notably different than their Lager now. Bittersweet flavor, caramel, biscuit, yeasty, herbal hops, very fine. Pretty full in body with long herbal and slightly biscuit finish. Fine beer, nice German type Märzen.

Marko (6523) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 7, 2010
Draught at the brewpub, 5.4%, shared with heavy. Poured a red-brown body with a small white head. Sweet malty nose with a yeastiness kinda typical for Central European micro beers. The taste is roasty, yeasty, with some chewy watermelon-like hops, slightly acidic. Fruity, carrying some socky yeastiness. Got better as it got warmer. Very light bitter hoppy aftertaste. Nice enough. We weren´t expecting such a dark Märzen at the time, being used to the Austrian definition.
