Bottled at PBF. Black color with small creamy head. Thick, sweetish and roasty aroma with licorice, berries and some vinous tartness. Roasty coffee, licorice and chocolate flavor with oak, salt and vinous tartness in the finish. Dryer and more tart than the original and bourbon versions. Interesting experiment. This is fairly complex but dry salty sherry is not a perfect match with stout. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2009
Draught @ Ølfestival Valby - CBF09, Copenhagen, Denmark.caesar (7133) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - AUG 5, 2009
Dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, raosted, caramel, sherry, wood, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft to flat.
Tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival 09. Extra sherry and port added to the taste of the regular. Slight sharp. Decent balance still. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2009
Bottle at the RBESG09 Grand tasting, sheffield. Alround rating: This is just as massivly over powering as the other two, however the oxidised sherry really does try its best to balance, but the beer is soo massive it cant. bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 26, 2009
Growler @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2009. Almost black and opague. Grapes, cherry and roast in the vinous aroma and flavor. Some tartness, citrus. Roast and oak in the finish. Much more vinous as the other two Imperial Stout versions and therefore my favorite.

RBESG Sheffield 2009 Grand Tasting at the Harlequin. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, sweet alcohol, molasses. Flavour is very very sweet, boozy, sherry, molasses. Sugar sticks to your lips. Unbalanced. Sorry, but this didn’t work for me. I’m not a fan of sherry, also the sweetness in this beer was too much. cgarvieuk (24462) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 21, 2009

Flavor: sweet chocolate flavor is followed by lots of bitterness and tartness
Aroma: 6/10; Appearance: 7/10; Flavor: 4/10; Palate: 6/10; Overall: 9/20
Bottle at Plan B.
It pours dark brown to black with a tan head.
Aroma is liquorice, sherry, vanilla, dark roasted malt and a hint of tar.
The flavour is quite smooth with notes of liquorice, roasted malt, wood and a mild sour touch.
I had higher exceptions including a distinct cherry flavour. fiulijn (20492) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 13, 2009
2009-05-26, draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 6-4-8-3-15=36
Black color; medium head. The aroma is slightly better than the Conditioned, with light cask and glue. The mouthfeel is smoother, with a better harmony of malts, and a better balance for a bit more sugars in it.
2009-05-16, draught at Københavnske Øldage 2009, 6-4-7-4-14=35
Black color, no head. Too light aroma, for this beer. Quite good chocolate and roasted malt flavor, but the mouthfeel is drier than the Regular. There is a light Sherry touch, but overall, even if good, it’s less interesting.
