Bottle. 6.0%. Best before 08.04.17. As ’Braunstein Brown Ale’. Pours a clear, dark amber/light brown, with a light tan head. Good lacing. Malty aroma with a hop note and a slight berry-like tart note. Dusty overtone as it warms. Flavour is hoppy and a bit tart. Malt in the background. Light spicy note; cloves? Dusty overtone. Light fruity note as it warms. Bitter liquorice finish with a mild alcohol burn. Lingering light spicy note, followed by a grassy/apple note. Overall okay; a bit generic in both aroma and the initial flavour, but the finish makes up for that. 28.10.16.

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body with visible small particles and light carbonation. Earthy mineraly aroma with fruity red berry notes. Dry-sweet roasty mineraly taste with earthy fruity notes. Mid-to-light body. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish roasty red fruit aftertaste with smoky mineraly vanilla notes. Quite subtle and nice. (0.5l bottle, from SuperBrugsen Fredericia.)

PapaVillum (874) - Valby, DENMARK - JAN 18, 2016
Dog kedeligt duftindtryk. 50 cl, flaske, 6.0 % ABV, batch#871, BB: 08/02/16, købt i Irma på Valby Langgade i Valby. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Okay brownie with flavors of caramel and sweet malt. Too weak on the bitterness hops.
