Desverger (12218) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 15, 2015
Bottle from Brugsen, Christianshavn, - dark brown pour with beige head. Toasty and bready sweet malty aroma and taste, some caramel, toffee, some Christmas spicy action, some nutty notes, something not right though with a strange artificial medicinal taste in the finish for me. Not great.

TorbenJensen (1534) - Valby, DENMARK - JUL 25, 2015
Beautiful creamy foam. Aroma of nuts and caramel. The taste is rich and contains good caramel malt with notes of hazelnut. A little cinnamon marks towards the end and helps to calm the sweetness who rules a little too much in this beer. It is a fine and tasty ale that is reminiscent of something brown ale with weak associations against Belgian dubbel. In the end it have a little citrusy acidity and a distinct hoppy bitterness. Tasty, a little heavy and mellow.

thewolf (12705) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 21, 2012
Bottle, bought @ REMA 1000, Kolding.
Pours deep chestnut brown with a large, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has sweet malts, toasted caramel, a bit of astringent red berries. Highish carbonation, dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour is not that pleasant, caramel, harsh chalky, some spice unbalance. Not good.

Rating #776, bottle from Rema1000, Artillerivej. Well, I’m always dissapointed with Braunstein brews, but this was the only one in Rema1000 I hadn’t tried yet... It’s a very dark red beer with a nicotine yellow head that dissapears rather fast. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, obvious nuts and a bit roast - not bad at all, actually! Sourish caramel and nut flavour, a bit hops and a whole lot of nothing. Minor bitterness in the finish and a really dull beer, actually. Watery, but soft palate. All in all not bad, but really anonymous and dare I say a bit pointless.

Borup (14945) - Albertslund, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2012
Bottle from Rema 1000. Amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of spice, malr, caramel and fruit.
