Hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head. A really sweet malty nose. Somewhat vegetal hop aromas with a bit of citrus and floral character. A touch of clove and perhaps some banana. The hop profile is quite pronounced on the palate (particularly for the style). A lot of citrus peel and floral notes, some clove spiciness, and tons of sweet bready malt.

Draught at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Clear yellow - white head. High wheaty, spicy, banana, fruity, flowery, bitterness, too yeasty and too spicy, wierd.

Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wheat, spicy hops, and bananas. The flavor is sweet with notes of bananas, wheat, citrus fruits, spicy, and dusty hops, leading to a bitter and wheaty finish. Very interesting way to spice up a hefeweizen.

On tap at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Pours a cloudy yellow-golden body with a fingerthick creamy tan colored head that leaves a really nice lacing. The peachy hop aroma mixes well with the spicy banana of the weizen yeast. Good idea. I also like the added bitterness that the hopping brings. Light to medium body. Light doughy texture and smooth to drink. The spicy sweetness is still there. I think the brewer have managed to improve the style.

33cl Draught at Braustelle. Appearance is hazy, orange color with medium, off-white head. Aroma is grains with amarillo hop citrus. Taste is very pleasant - wheat, grainy malts, grapefruit, orange, and a slight spice. Balance is slightly acidic making it very refreshing. Palate is medium-bodied, smooth texture, average carbonation, and a somewhat dry finish. This is a nice blend of Weizen with an IPA hop bite. Great beer!
