ALIBALI (2396) - Kiel, GERMANY - FEB 17, 2017
Heftiges Zeug. Wenn man schnell genug hinschnuppert, bevor einen die Lederhose über die Nase gezogen wird, kann man sich an einen wohligen Aprikosenmusduft erfreuen.Wild und very funky. Die neblig ockergelbe Brühe mit der üppigen Beschäumung ist optisch ein richtiger Hingucker. Perfekt. Der Trunk dann kräftig Gueuzeaffin. BOON BLACK LABEL läßt grüßen. Nur viel schartkantig und angriffslustiger. Azetonalarm und Citusinferno. Buttriger Sourtwister und Alkosweetspicefatman. Halleluja!!! BRAUSTELLE RULES!! AGAIN!!!! 0,33 Flasche direkt von der Stelle. Ca.3€.

0.33 l bottle from ’CraftBeer-Dealer.com’, best before February 2017. Slight gusher! Hazy, golden amber with a large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sourish-fruity, quite funky aroma of lemon, gooseberry, white grapes, sweat and urine. Sweetish-malty, a bit sourish, slightly funky and a bit fruity taste of caramel, honey, white grapes, gooseberry, lemon and some urine, followed by a rather long, medium grassy-bitter, moderately tart finish. Medium to full body, a bit astringent, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Quite tasty actually, expected the worst after the slight gusher and the sourish-funky aroma. Typical Braustelle stuff with an infection, but it’s not bad at all!

Dark blond with big, foaming head. Aroma has some wild, funky notes as does the flavour. Not sure if that’s intended. Later this really sweetens up with some apricot and orange.

330ml bottle. Hazy golden orange color with off white head. Malty, yeasty and light hoppy aroma, caramel, bready, fruity, spicy. Sweet and light acidic taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Orange color with little foam. Very thin smell. The taste is creamy, a little malty and yeasty and a boozy as well. Wheaty and dryish aftertaste.

Hazy deep golden color with big dense head. Yeasty, fruity, very fruity, like jam. Good hints at a fruit tartness as well. Taste is spicy, honey, bitter, instant foam in the mouth, super-smooth texture, but the taste is a bit weak compared to the aroma. Very alcoholic, like many Tripels. Interesting aroma though.

Bottle at Braustelle, Koln, Germany, Friday 28th March 2014 Golden colour, a little hazy, nice sweet/sour tang. Pushy and assertive beer, the alcohol shows but doesn’t get in the way too much. The nose is something of a hotchpotch, fruity, yeasty with a hint of sourness. I like it, I’ve had better but it’s good. A6 A3 T8 P3 Ov15 3.5

Hazy light amber-brown. Thin head. Aroma shows a lot of yeast. Taste is full if malt, with a lot of phenols, some sharp and some hinting at bubblegum. Fizzy for a strong ale. Ok strong beer...could be an ale....a bit lacking in polish.
