Draft at Braustelle. Very very hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, langoustine, floral notes, hay, light fruits, dough and light citrus. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and light to light moderate sweet. Above light bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty weird Kolsch.

Zlotta (3058) - Hagen / Bonn, GERMANY - APR 5, 2017
0.33 l bottle from ’P&M Getränke’, best before April 2017. Hazy, straw yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and a bit grassy aroma of straw, citrus, pear and a touch of honey. Sweetish, fruity-grassy taste of lemon, pineapple, pear, straw and hints of grains, followed by a short, medium bitter, grassy, chalky and slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle. Hazy yellow. Yeasty and fruity. Finish is very hoppy and bitter for a Kölsch. This was my first Wieß and I quite liked it.

Hazy yellow with medium white head. Aroma is peach citrus, wheat, flour. Taste is fruity sour and fruity sweet with some chocolate coming through. Finish is tart fruityness. Very nice small bubbled mouthfeel. Easy to drink while tickling a little. Full bodied. This one did everything right!

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2016 Tap at braustelle brauhaus. Pours hazy orange. Nose is peach, apricot, citrus. Taste immidiately starts with Peach, bubblegum. Palate is is tart, sour, dark fruit. Long bitter finish. This is an interesting take on Kölsch.

Hazy and slightly orangish in color. It’s like a kölsch, but with slightly more hops and maltiness.

ALIBALI (1829) - Kiel, GERMANY - JUL 19, 2016

Martinus (4595) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - MAY 2, 2016
Hazy pale orange golden colour, white head. Light hoppy, light yeasty aroma, malts. Quite bitter hoppy flavour, especially for a Koelsch, fruity hop notes. Hoppy finish, sweet malts. Nice.

Overall it was pretty flat. Worth trying but I don’t think I would seek it out again.
