Alengrin (5554) - BELGIUM - AUG 31, 2014
Darkish wheat beer of American signature but made by a progressive German brewery. Sticky, thin, cream white head, hazy amber colour. Aroma of peach, citrus peel, caramel, sourish wheat; sweetish malt taste with wheat sourishness, bit oily mouthfeel, fruity with a long citrussy hop bitterness in the finish. culchiem (4070) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 19, 2013
On tap at Heienpeters as a guest beer, I assume it is this one as I cannot find another wheat ale. Hazy drop yellow orange with a large firm head. Aroma is light fruity grassy hop. Flavour is fruit, some dry wheat with a mild fruity wheat finish skortila (5967) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2011
@ ACBF 2011. The aroma has grassy hops, some malt. Hazy orange coloured beer with a thin head. The taste is relative bitter, grassy, bit citric. Very refreshing. Relative much body for a light beer. Nice! Leighton (21879) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2011
Draft at ACBF 2011. Pours hazy orange-gold with a light, filmy head. Yeasty nose, notes of dough and caramel. Grassy bitterness in the flavor, light rinds, mild sugar. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Somwehat light, watery flavor. Rindy bitter finish, faint sugars. Alright beer. Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - SEP 23, 2011
Süßmalziger Geruch. Antrunk süßlich mit deutlichem Malzeinschlag. Röstmalzige Mitte. Abgang süßmalzig, bittert etwas nach. Etwas holprig.
NoiZe (2323) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - AUG 4, 2011
Had this one at the ACBF 2011. Cloudy golden colored brew. Some hops, wheat and some bitterness. harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2011
At ACBF 2011. Cloudy gold colour with some cheesey hop on the aroma. Quite light in mouth. Some sickly cereal flavour. Some fresh hop on end. Cereal is quite pronounced. Soft in mouth. Bitter finish. OK. fiulijn (20992) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 12, 2011
Draught at the brauhausRadek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JUN 14, 2011
Cloudy amber-copper color; creamy head. Nice hop aroma, quite delicate, yet evident, with fruity hops, followed by mild resins and traces of yeast. Appreciated body structure, apparently bolder than the real 3.5% ABV would suggest; the mouthfeel is quite dry, both for the lack of sugars and for the very high bitterness; there is some caramel flavor, and a very high final bitterness; in the end, maybe there are traces of the spices and wheat, but also the yeast is too evident.
Another rough brew by Braustelle, but quite drinkable. It needs to be refined.
On tap at Brew Pub pivnizub (10731) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAY 29, 2011
Aroma aromatic C hop character. Soft with light creamy notes. Fresh frontal hop aromas. 7+
Appearance light haze with medium plus creamy top. Fine haze on darker base.
Flavor and Palate : Medium bodied. Soft with plenty of hop character. Citrus with leafy feel. None of harshness. Easygoing American bitter right here in Cologne.
Draught: Deep golden, a bit hazy, small foamy layer; solid dry fruity-hoppy nose with an impressive "english" touch; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, not watery; lingering dry hoppy-fruity finish with a light tartness in the aftertaste. Really good......
