Zlotta (3292) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - MAR 20, 2017
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2017 0.33 l bottle from ’Schneider’s Getränkemarkt’ (Kölle), 2014 vintage at 7.5% abv, cellared for almost two years. Gusher! Murky, dark brown to black with a medium large, fluffy, quickly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-sourish, very funky and slightly smoky aroma of lots of brett funk, dark fruits, oak, a bit of chocolate and some peat. Slightly sweetish, moderately sour, very funky, slightly smoky and a bit roasty taste of oak, dark fruits, chocolate, red grapes and some peat, followed by a medium long, moderately tart, woody-dry, a bit spicy, a little roasty and slightly peaty finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. A bit all over the place, and even though it’s a Sour Ale I’d say it’s fair to call this unintendedly infected (what else?). Still quite enjoyable though, very interesting recipe as well.

McSherman (685) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - FEB 21, 2017
rot-braun, trüb mit wenig Schaum. Geruch ist säuerlich, aber auch leicht fruchtig und rauchig. Der Antrunk ist sehr sauer, etwas malzig süß und auch hier etwas malzig.

Tap (Braustelle, Cologne)
Rubbery aroma. Sharp lemony sourness too, almost tear-inducing, hint vinegary. Medium palate, but obviously sharp, carbonation. Taste similarto aroma, more of the rubber, woodier, touch of old school desks, acidity even more balsamic. No sign of any alcohol. Drinkability great. Don’t consider the above strange words as negative - there was enjoyment at every stage.

Tap (Braustelle, Cologne) (6+:4:6+:4:13=3.3++)
Basically black, a small beige head. Woh, sweet salty sour spicy sweaty smoked aroma. Funky, but nice. Rubbery burnt taste. Smooth palate carbonation soft. Fullish. Pleasant tingle on the tongue both from hops and smokiness. Covers 6.8% under the craziness. Enjoyed.

Ritzn (1412) - GERMANY - JUN 28, 2016
Dark red hazy with little light brown head. Aroma is christmas spices, clove, caramel, some forest as well. Taste is only sour, finish is more sourness, not as creamy as expected in the mouth. Awkward.

jonas (7588) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JUN 28, 2016
Bottle 2013. Cloudy brown, offwhite cream. Sweet aroma, some brett notes, light fur, berry, fruit, honey, fresh. Medium light tart base, wooden leathery finish with a bit hop play.

jfb (6270) - GERMANY - JUN 28, 2016
(bottle) slightly hazy deep ruby colour with a frothy light-beige head. aroma of cherry stones, coconut milk and bubble gum, with a touch of herbal hops and black pepper. flavour is mostly bready malts and yeast, with some more yeast, black bread crusts and a semi-tart finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

ALIBALI (2122) - Kiel, GERMANY - MAY 17, 2016
Sehr ansehnliche tief dunkelrotbraune Farbe. Der Geschmack "feingliedrig". Klar säuerlich, aber nicht zu extrem & gewichtig. Dunkles Obst. Sehr komplex und abwechslungsreich. 0,33l/ca. 3 Euro direkt von der Braustelle, Köln.

VastActiv (7134) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 26, 2016
Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. Vintage 2013. BBE November 2016. Thanks to Erzengel! Colour is cloudy reddish brown with large white head. Bottle was little bit of gusher. Aromas and flavours: Berries, red berries, dryness, sourness and some malts. Very strange. Contaminated perhaps? I don’t recognize this beer from other ratings. Probably totally different beer as fresh.

rouhlas (3616) - GREECE - DEC 30, 2015
330ml bottle. Dark brown color with off white head. Malty and yeasty aroma, herbal, spicy, citrusy fruity, light funky, vinous, wood. Sweet and acidic taste. Light to medium thin to oily body with soft carbonation.

King_Alex_II (1228) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 11, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 3, 2016 Dark brown with sufficient foam. Nice sour smell. Wild sour smell with lactic sourness. Strongly carbonated. A stronger dark tart taste in the aftertaste. a bit overkill, but thanks for crafting it.
