Bottle... Pours clear and brown with flashes of copper and a small, creamy, white head. The aroma offers caramel, toffee and a warming port nuance. Full-bodied with jazzy carbonation. The flavor is well-balanced; malty and boozy with subtle, woody bitterness - accompanied by caramel and vinous notes. Warming alcohol finish. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz! Poured from bottle to glass. Deep brown hue with ran head that dissipated. Aroma is caramel , oak, spicy, smoke, banana. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet throughout with a nice astringent & tannin following and slight ethanol finish. Overall this is an ok brew. devman171 (1221) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - JUN 8, 2014

To borrow from KISS - "You wanted the Best you got the Best the Hottest little Beer in the world!" Terrific color, flavor and finish. This was a true treat and a compliment to both Alan and Fred. Cheers Breakside. ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Bottle from 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a dull, dark, brown, little to no tan head. Aroma lots of rye, some woody smoke. Body somewhat thin, but a lovely well-balanced warmth prevails in the finish, sweetness and an almost citric tang. Really nice. mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 28, 2013
UPDATED: NOV 29, 2013 22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out loads of bourbon, oak, some chocolate and a little leather. Flavour is similarly complex, with loads of bourbon, wood, vanilla, a little cocoa and leather. The barrels are used to such perfection here. The bourbon and oak are pretty front and centre. An awesome replication of Adam from the Wood. skoisirius (1909) - Earth, Washington, USA - NOV 27, 2013
Nice little find up in Portland, OR a few months ago. Brown pour, tanned white head. Hints of smoke, rye, cherry wood and maple on the nose. Flavors are a bit sweeter up front with hints of cherry fruit, but moves quickly into a smoked out rye blast that is actually a lot mellower than one might expect. Hints of oaked whiskeyt and bacon on the finish. Quite the smooth brew. Not overly done thankfully, but could be a little bit louder as far as my palate is concerned. Good brew though overall. daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Brown pour, tan head. Lots of dried fruit, oak, whiskey, vanilla, cream soda. Pretty damn good!
