22 oz bottle from Tavour shared with drsordr and Corey. Pours a hazy copper brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, bourbon, vanilla, cherry, light chocolate, wet bourbon, very light chilies, decent.

I sit on this bottle for quite a while I think... 2014 vintage perhaps? Anyhow, now is the time! Pours a super clear copper with a high and pretty resilient eggshell head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of coconut, vanillin and peppers. Think pickled peppers. Juice and all. Not bad but could certainly be better. Taste offers a jar of pickled hot peppers as well but without much heat. Sweet but not too much. More bourbon-derived flavors of coconut and vanilla. Alcohol isn’t too present. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. I didn’t care much for it but it was still better crafted (pickle juice aside) than a lot of strong ales I can think of. Good.

Poured into a snifter, the appearance was a ruddy dark orange to light brown color with a little off white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Some sliding lace. The aroma had some milk chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, coconut, sweet wood and a dry little spicy chili pepper balancing it all out nicely. The flavor was sweet with the chocolate, coconut and vanilla up front allowing the chili heat to come in slightly. Aftertaste was almost non-existent but seemed to have just a touch of the milk chocolate. Finish was the same. The palate was medium bodied with some of the "heat" to coincide with the meddling of the feel (the bourbon to the spicy "heat"). Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, pretty nice strong ale, American or English, hell if I know, just damn good.

Thanks to Matt for this one.

Bomber, 2015 vintage. Chile pepper aroma with notes of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and a touch of coconut. Pours cloudy caramel colored with a thin tan head that has a little bit of retention and excellent lacing. Starts with sweet chocolate flavor as well as notes of vanilla and a bit of coconut. Finishes smooth with bourbon and a little bit of chile heat that warms along with the booze. Excellent beer for winter!

Bomber from Tavour given to me by my daughter. Nose is chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, and a hint of chipolte. Murky rusty orange with a medium, lightly lacing, beige head. Flavor is big vanilla, oak, light bourbon, and a very light capsaicin heat. Nicely done as far as I am concerned.

22 oz bottle- Pours hazy burnt orange with a medium light tan head. Aroma is bourbon, toffee, caramel, vanilla, sweet, it doesn’t scream chilies or chocolate, although they are there. The taste is oak, vanilla, cocoa, bourbon, apples, maybe a hint of chilies. Body is medium to somewhat light actually, carbonation is soft, there needs to be more chilies in here, that is why i bought this. It’s okay, one and done type.

Toronado, Seattle. Bubbly cream, dark red ombre. Dark whiskey aroma, fruity raisins and apple peel. Smooth, cool sip with some apple and alcohol funk. Vanilla extract throughout. Spicy alc on finish. Quite nice
