On tap. Pours a clear gold with little head. Aromas of jammy stoned fruit and toasted malts. Flavors of dried fruit, resin, grass and bread crust. Definite Mosiac. Nice enough but nothing distinctive. sulawang (1161) - - JUL 15, 2017
Visual: Pours virtually clear golden orange with a small 1mm head, half lacing, loose clusters of active streams.

Nose: passionfruit-tangerine brightness with a touch of grassy hop, very clean and inviting. (lvl-7)-pungency
Attack: thicker-crisp, slightly creamy, citrus malt impression
Mid-palate: (lvl-4-sweetness), alcohol hit-low detection, passionfruit, mild pineapple, big tangerine citrusy, fruity-toffee barley malt
Finish: mild grapefruit bitter, tangerine exhale, off-dry bready grain, subtle bitter
Summary: Super stealth 8.1% ABV happening here, meaning that the complexity and balance matches its moderately high alcohol content. I wished for the tropical fruitness in the mids to last longer but instead the sweet barley kicks in a bit early.
Clear golden color, medium white head. Grapefruit aroma. Taste is bitter citrus and pine. Nice. kyzr (1548) - Montana, USA - JUN 6, 2017

kathouse (1893) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - JUN 4, 2017
Pours a clear golden with a lasting white foam. Hops are more fruit, herbal, and pine than they are citrus. Flavors meld well without too much bitterness. uhclem (429) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - JUN 1, 2017
A very nice DIPA. Most impressive was the fact that the alcohol was very well hidden. This is my first from Breakside, and I am looking forward to sampling more of their product. AgentAle (1753) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 26, 2017
A big floral nose full of passionfruit, honey, citrus, lemongrass, and faint hints of pine needles greet my nose on pour.
The taste is light sweet malts invaded by an army of several hop varieties. Two of which I’m hearing are Mosaic and Elderado hops. These two relatively new hop varieties lend to the fresh citrus flavors met with a deep and slightly spicy earthiness.
As I have become pleasantly used to with Portland beers, this full bodied hop profile somehow manages to mellow out wonderfully with a very light liquor warmth. No mouth-puckering bitterness, you could drink a few of these without too much trouble.

Draft. Clear gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of vanilla sugar cookie, under ripe melon, and florals. Flavors are of white bread dough, edible flowers, booze, orange and tropical fruit. Medium bodied with a balancing bitterness. luttonm (6276) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 22, 2017
Chuck’s 85th, Seattle. Lacing thin foam, rich golden body. Rich biscuit malts, banana ester. IPA level green hops. Alcohol note and richness. Interesting construction and idea. Clean green bitter hop finish. Not for me exactly but a nice beer.
