On tap @ Breakside. Hazed amber color with a khaki head. Some caramel, toast, and fruity esters. I guess it’s decently hoppy as well...kind of woody and grassy. The flavor is a little on the bitter side, despite the substantial malt profile and sweetness. But overall it’s kind of a mess and not terribly refined. Not their best effort. Draft - Twig and some odd skunk. Dark clear Amber with a decent beige head. Twig and some toffee in the finish.

On tap at Breakside Milwaukee, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts and some herbal notes. Flavour is clean, with toasted chestnuts and crisp biscuity malt. Doesn’t strike me as a keller bier due to the dark colour and taste, but it’s pretty nice or what it is. Decent.

Tap at Breakside Restaurant & Pub Brewery during Zwickelmania 2015. Toasty malty nose, light chocolate, coffee. Thin moderately light brown. Taste comprises toffee, gentle fruit flavours, sugars, bread dough.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, touch of bitterness in the finish.

On draught at Breakside’s 3rd Anniversary Party. Deep dark brown. Dark rye malt aroma. Intense malt flavor, little hop presence. Finishes with a dark maltiness.
