COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We always wanted to make a year-round German-style Pilsner. Both because it tastes great and it’s a favorite of ours. We import bagged German Pilsner malt and manually add 3,300 pounds to each batch because we believe that’s what it takes to make a great German pilsner. We source all Hallertau Hersbrucker hops, which we prize for their mix of floral and “Noble” notes. Then we wait. This beer is unfiltered, so we rely on natural lagering techniques (i.e. long times and cold temperatures) to get this beer as bright as sunshine.

Awesome pilsner! Bone dry, quite floral and nice spicy hop notes. Medium straw gold pour, fizzy off white head that dies down. Aroma is classic Bavarian Pilsner; slight skunky, grainy, spicy noble hops, light straw. Easy sipping, refreshing, crisp, mild bitterness but more than expected. Love this pils!

classic pilsner traits from the color, aroma, taste, body and finish. one of the best pilsners i've tried to date. everything you'd look for in a pilsner, this has it. an extremely solid breakside production.

Has the pilsner signature aroma - bread, slightly spicy. Gorgeous bright golden color with a nice white, creamy, thick head, set off by the rising carbonation bubbles. The aroma and look of this pilsner are spot on. Good body in the mouth feel. Mild bready malt flavor, spice, with just the right hops bittering asserting in the middle and finish. Impressive.

Bottle in Seattle. White foam, very pale, somewhat cloudy yellow. Banana grain. A bit soft, fruity and round. Thin pils malt and hop snappiness at finish. Fairly drinkable, a little too fruity and round up front for my taste.

Bomber. Floral hop aroma with notes of grassy hops and crackery malt. Pours clear, pale golden colored with a thin off white head that has excellent retention and a little bit of lacing. Starts with crackery malt and grassy hop flavors. Finishes crisp, clean and very smooth with some floral hops. Refreshing and very drinkable, very nice pils.

Keg @ some Mexican joint in PDX. Gold pour with a white head. Nicely expressive nose. Honey, straw, and a bit of grass. Very crisp and eminently drinkable. Cracker, more honey. Noble hops. Grate stuff.

Bottle. Slightly hazy bright yellow with a lasting white head. Floral and grassy hops with clean crackery malts, moderately bitter finish. Solid pilz

Appearance: clear pale straw with two fingers of rocky white head, good retention and minimal lacing. (3/5) Aroma: grainy pale malt, citrus zest, grass. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-low bitter. (6/10) Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp lightly bitter finish. (4/5) Pretty straightforward pilsener. Decently light and crisp, with a mild noble hop bitter finish. Nothing exciting, but well-balanced and a solid example of the style. (13/20)
