COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We always wanted to make a year-round German-style Pilsner. Both because it tastes great and it’s a favorite of ours. We import bagged German Pilsner malt and manually add 3,300 pounds to each batch because we believe that’s what it takes to make a great German pilsner. We source all Hallertau Hersbrucker hops, which we prize for their mix of floral and “Noble” notes. Then we wait. This beer is unfiltered, so we rely on natural lagering techniques (i.e. long times and cold temperatures) to get this beer as bright as sunshine.

Bomber from a Safeway in Seaside, OR. Aroma is grassy, latex, sour berry jam, clean. Pours hazy straw golden with a white head with decent retention. Taste is fairly bitter backed by some light cookie dough sweetness. Nice pils.

651mL from Whole Foods Bend, OR. Pours a clear straw. Thick, sheets of lacing. Nose is heavier biscuit is thick marmalade, chamomile, clover honey, freshly cut grass. bright tangerine/grapefruit. Taste is dry, hoppy, grassy, thicker honey and biscuit balance. Longer grassy hop finish with thicker honey and biscuit malt to balance. Seems like a solid MrChopin and 3fourths style pilsner that gets the thumbs up from a big pilsner lover.

Tap @ Lardo... Poured pale, golden amber with a moderate lacy head. This was a delicious Pils. Floral and pungent hops on the nose. Biscuit malt and some sweetness to balance all the grassy, herbal, citrus hop notes going. Clean and refreshing, went will with all the pork we were eating.

drpimento (3572) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 26, 2015
Good appearance with lots of lace and a clear, bright gold color. Taste had an odd, out of place fruitiness at first which gave way to more traditional pilsner characteristics. Good body and finish.

51 points on RateBeer. Ugh. Makes me angry that some people even review pilsners. This bright yellow beer with great bubbles percolating upwards is crisp and clean with a slight grain taste. I enjoyed this beer and it paired well with a ham and cheese sandwich.

Draft at the source. Pale clear yellow color, bright white head, solid lacing. Aroma of hay, white pepper. Taste is clean and crisp lemony straw.

Bomber from Beer Authority

Light gold pour with a white head into my outward-curving pilsner glass. Bready nose with a bit of grass. Flavor is richer than expected with plenty of lemon peel and a substantial Hallertau hop kick. More bread. Fairly prickly. A bit heavier than expected but darn tasty. A big pils but fairly a fairly honest one. I’d repeat this happily.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2017 This is a pretty decent beer. Nice and easy going down. Lighter taste but that just makes it more drinkable. Good one. Update - on tap in PDX. Seriously refreshing.

Keg @ some Mexican joint in PDX. Gold pour with a white head. Nicely expressive nose. Honey, straw, and a bit of grass. Very crisp and eminently drinkable. Cracker, more honey. Noble hops. Grate stuff.

(650ml bottle) Purchased at Hillside Liquors about two weeks ago. I'm trying to drink my pils young because the general quick degradation of this style... And I like my pilsners crisp. Pours a lasting white foam with a light carbonation and golden body. Light grassy aroma. Minimal malt base and pleasant hops. Very good and enjoyable. --- reviewed on RateBeer.com
