COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We always wanted to make a year-round German-style Pilsner. Both because it tastes great and it’s a favorite of ours. We import bagged German Pilsner malt and manually add 3,300 pounds to each batch because we believe that’s what it takes to make a great German pilsner. We source all Hallertau Hersbrucker hops, which we prize for their mix of floral and “Noble” notes. Then we wait. This beer is unfiltered, so we rely on natural lagering techniques (i.e. long times and cold temperatures) to get this beer as bright as sunshine.

Keg @ some Mexican joint in PDX. Gold pour with a white head. Nicely expressive nose. Honey, straw, and a bit of grass. Very crisp and eminently drinkable. Cracker, more honey. Noble hops. Grate stuff.

Bottle. Slightly hazy bright yellow with a lasting white head. Floral and grassy hops with clean crackery malts, moderately bitter finish. Solid pilz

Appearance: clear pale straw with two fingers of rocky white head, good retention and minimal lacing. (3/5) Aroma: grainy pale malt, citrus zest, grass. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-low bitter. (6/10) Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp lightly bitter finish. (4/5) Pretty straightforward pilsener. Decently light and crisp, with a mild noble hop bitter finish. Nothing exciting, but well-balanced and a solid example of the style. (13/20)

A nice, puffy Pilsner. The bitterness is actually quite long lasting and peppery/herbal. The malt character is interesting. Tasty but it didn’t blow me away.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2017 This is a pretty decent beer. Nice and easy going down. Lighter taste but that just makes it more drinkable. Good one. Update - on tap in PDX. Seriously refreshing.

Bomber from a Safeway in Seaside, OR. Aroma is grassy, latex, sour berry jam, clean. Pours hazy straw golden with a white head with decent retention. Taste is fairly bitter backed by some light cookie dough sweetness. Nice pils.

Pours at 2.9 celcius with not very much head, modest carbonation, foggy yellow body. Stenchy hoppy lager aroma, cabbage, lemon, kind of intruiging. Flavour is lemon champagne with hints of candy sweetness. Dry finish. Odd lemon soda hints all around this which I don’t like; but I’ll still finish the bottle.
