On draught at Breakside. A wonderful pairing of smoke and almost cider. Reminds me of liquid apple pie.
St. Augs. Hazy amber with a medium head. Nose has apple and a touch of smoke. Light smoke on the palate, and some rather fatty malts, as well as a hint of apple towards the finish. Man, I really wanted this to make sense, but it's not not a well-composed beer. Ferris (17070) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 6, 2018
Draft - Baked Apple and cinnamon. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Cooked Apple and cinnamon, smoke is very light and in the background. Sarlacc83 (2430) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 26, 2015
A: Cloudy amber color with a near-white head.
A: Apple cider, all-spice, nutmeg, some gourd, earthiness, hints of toast and char.
T: Sweet, a bit smokey and a touch citrusy.
M: Light body, creamy carbonation, no alcohol.
O: A really nice quaff. Easy to imagine sitting in front of a ski lodge fire with this in hand. mcberko (19803) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 12, 2012
On tap at Breakside Brewing, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma of light smoke, cinnamon apples and Halloween / Christmas spices. Flavour of apple, cinnamon spicing, and some pumpkin / nutmeg spices. Not much smoke detectable. The spices are all in balance, creating a unique hybrid. Really enjoyable one.
