From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden red with a small pink head. Aroma is distinct cherry, light butterish note coming through. Butterish cherry flavoured. Tap ran quite a bit before poured. Citric and almondish cherry fruity finish. Light sweetness. MartinT (9852) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 13, 2010

Oddly enough, this fruit beer smells and tastes like a sweetened fruit juice blend, which one doesn’t hope for much when the word “Kriek” is used in the beer’s name...
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the orange-hued dark red.
-The finish is mildly tart and dusty.
-The body is rounder than expected from what I thought was going to be a Sour Ale or Fruit Lambic. The carbonation makes this an easy quaff though.
-Cherries and berries galore wind up coming out as cough syrup-like at times, even though they are well dried out in the end.
On tap at the brewpub.
On tap at the brewpub 2/21/10: Pours a transparent dark ruby red with a well-lacing froth of pinkish head. Sweet, rich pure black cherries dominate the nose. Starts with good body and finely dissolved carabonation with some semi-sweet black cherry flavor and a touch of raspberry tartness before a smooth sweet tart finish. A nicely-balanced, flavorful and complex fruit beer. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - FEB 26, 2010
Clear copper red color/ light pink head. Nice fruity raspberry, marionberry aromas. Rich frothy mouthfeel. Sweet flavor at first turns mildly tart with raspberry, cherry in the finish. JohnnyJ (5545) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 25, 2010
On tap. Pours a clear red with pink head. Raspberries, cherries, light sweet malt, and some sourness. Not to complex, and to sweet ’n’ fruity for my tastes.

Cloudy purple with almost no head. Cinnamon cherry sugar and marrion berry aroma and taste with some sharp citrus notes. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - MAY 22, 2010
Pours a murky pink with tons of chunky floaties and a bubbly creamy chunky pinkish white head. Aroma of mixed berries, mostly all berry aroma maybe a touch of wheat. Flavor of berries, wheat. Nice and dry. Snojerk321 (2960) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 2, 2010
Tap @ Breakwater. Pours a chunky pinkish purple with a bubbly off pink head. Big nose of sweet cherries, raspberries, and cotton candy. Quite sweet on the palate as well, slightly tart. Wish this brew had a little more bite to it, still pretty damn good though. iowaherkeye (2703) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - DEC 21, 2009
On tap at Breakwater. Opaque reddish brown with a one finger creamy pink head, fair retention. Aroma of sweet raspberries and cherries--more sweet than tart. Also a bit of toasted malts. Flavor adds some cinnamon and has stronger cherries, though lightly tart. Not too sweet, either. Bitterness was minimal, and sourness peaked at a 2 or so. Tastes nothing like the 6.9% the chalkboard claims. Medium body with light to moderate creamy carbonation. More like a fruit beer than a kriek, but not too bad. Belgian Red and Raspberry Tart own it, though. DaSilky1 (2606) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 7, 2009
San Diego Brewers Guild Fest 09: Nose was a little sloppy yet exhibited some berry essence. the appearance was an orgy of berriness...yogurt-like in thickness...smoothie-esque..and like purple mud. Flavors certainly bringing out the berries and the cherry...raspberry notes rejoicing everywhere...vividly cakey sometimes...body thick enough...berries coming through good....can’t find too many faults as a fruit beer. nicely done!
