tap at brewpub-6/16/11-ok easy rate here-think hop head red not quite as big and thats what you have with this beer. copper hue with a small fizzy white head nose of toasted malt and lively bitter hops. diacytl detected a bit when it warmed. probably the only beer i had on the whole trip that had diacytl. it was more apparent on the nose not as much on the flavors. not bad. Pours hazy, red/brown with a medium white head that leaves spider web lace. Smells of red fruit and caramel malts. Hoppy overall with some malt sweetness. Tastes sweet and red fruity up front with caramel malts and a lingering hop bitterness. Medium body, slightly undercarbonated. Sathorael (159) - Oceanside, California, USA - DEC 4, 2012
Notable off flavors present in this beer. DMS is dominating in flavor and aftertaste. Not sure if its just a bad keg.
