Clear amber with a medium off white head. Fruity nose with hops and pine. Plenty of fruits in the flavor that also carried, toasted malt, caramel and pine. Dry and bitter finish. Nice. doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 12, 2010
Pours hazy, red/brown with a medium white head that leaves spider web lace. Smells of red fruit and caramel malts. Hoppy overall with some malt sweetness. Tastes sweet and red fruity up front with caramel malts and a lingering hop bitterness. Medium body, slightly undercarbonated. TomDecapolis (4636) - Milton, Delaware, USA - MAY 22, 2010

On tap. Pours with a huge white head over an amber-golden body. Aroma is fruity, straw, tea, light hops. Taste is caramel, toast, and somewhat dry but still decently malty. Herbal and citrus hops are medium strength in the background. Lively bubbles, dry finish but still a malty/caramel finish. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - SEP 11, 2010

tap at brewpub-6/16/11-ok easy rate here-think hop head red not quite as big and thats what you have with this beer. copper hue with a small fizzy white head nose of toasted malt and lively bitter hops. diacytl detected a bit when it warmed. probably the only beer i had on the whole trip that had diacytl. it was more apparent on the nose not as much on the flavors. not bad. Pours a red/amber, with off-white head. Abv was in the 5.8% range. Citrus, hops, light caramel and bread. Light to medium body. Nothing wrong with it, easy to drink. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAY 25, 2010
Clear copper with a fizzy white head. Malt and toffee aroma. An earthy musty herbal taste with a brassy bitter finish. yespr (48916) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2012
From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark amber to almost brown with a small tan head. Fruity, toasted malty aroma. Flavour is light caramelish, roasted, light bitterness and a bit on the sweet side. BlackHaddock (7957) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2015
26th May 2015: one of six on a flight at the brewpub. Copper hue to the golden pour, on top a wispy white covering. Malts rule the nose and flavour, some fruit elements keep it interesting. The sweetness of the malts is almost equalled by the hop content and the beer has a nice balance for someone with a sweet tooth like me.
