Malty flavor with a lingering after taste. Was hoping for something a little smoother with less alcohol coming through. Wouldn't really call it hoppy. fsbw21086 (481) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 31, 2015
Not what I was expecting from a double. Taste is super sweet with some heavy flavors lingering. Boozy through and through and lingers like a oak aged whiskey.

Big caramel malt and some herbal tea hop smell too. Taste is caramel malt, crackers, pine tar, and herbal tea. rosskyle (733) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 11, 2015

Better than average IPA. Mostly pine and grassy with some light citrus notes at the end. Bready base. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - AUG 15, 2015
Bottle from Chevy Chase Beer and Wine. Nice amber body with medium head. Nose is hoppy, yeasty, pine. Taste is lots of hops, pine, cactus. Nice caramel notes in there. Enjoyable. DSteensen26613 (2) - - JUL 9, 2015 does not count
I love this beer, the taste is pleasurable, not hoppy. This is a great barbecue beer, refreshing.

Delicious IPA right here! Drank from 12oz bottle, has a nice citrusy, slightly hoppy aroma. Very fragrant smell ;) Really great flavor as well! Instantly reminded me of Stone IPA. Very well balanced hoppy flavor, slight citrus taste, with a slightly malty finish. After tasting it I would have never guessed that this beer is 9.2% Would definitely buy this stuff again!! puboflyons (3442) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 1, 2015
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle stamped 07528B15. It has an amber colored and heady pour. Some haze. A bit of roasted malts on the nose but quickly overtaken by the floral and cantaloupe fruitiness. Medium to heavy body. Quick sweetness and then more abundant bitterness that lingers to finish. For 9.2% this drinks easy.
