Hoppy? Brother, 471 redefines hoppy. 471 is a small batch, limited edition ale that was created by our Brewmaster to separate the weak from the strong. 471 is a double IPA, that combines Pale, Munich, Caramel-30, Carapils and Torrified Wheat malts, with Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe and Fuggles hops. It has a big sweet mouthfeel, followed by more hoppiness than you've ever had at one time. Enjoy. (Available at Breckenridge Pubs and Restaurants and bottled as 471 Small Batch Double Hopped IPA.)

Really boozy. Like almost dominates the aroma here. Some subtle tropical fruit but lots of alcohol. Really kind of overpowers this one for me. Taste is matly and almost syrupy sweet. Not much else going on. I was excited about this one but it was just kind of a boozy mess for me.

On tap at DFW. Pours clear bee. Thin off white head. Aroma is caramel some hoppiness. Not terribly bitter. Really nice beer but not quite an ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy orange amber color with a frothy off white head. Aroma of resin hops and brown sugar and some vanilla. Flavor of citrus hops, sweet malts, slight resin and alcohol. Not sure this one is good enough to justify the 9.2% abv. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Clear orange-amber with a frothy beige head, lasting and lacing. Aromas of toasted malt, caramel, citrus, and pine. Flavor is caramel and toasted malt upfront citrus, and pine on the back end, light dark fruit underneath. Full bodied, oily with some warmth on the end. Lingering citrusy fruit notes.

Bottle @ home, from WholeFoods. Clear amber, full head. Heavy boozy toffee and hops. Pretty well balanced, bit too sweet though.

Alcohol with a nice lingering bitterness. It goes to your head very quickly. First double IPA I?ve had. Somewhat malty.

Always gotta have this when in Denver during GABF, awesome peach citrus nose, great over top hop fresh flavor without working too much into it. Such a big pleasant hoppy brew A+++++

Sampler @ Brewpub. Now we’re talking! Well blended aromas of pith and peachy sweetness with a hint of juniper. A little to the set side on the flavor, but the best one of the bunch.
