Hoppy? Brother, 471 redefines hoppy. 471 is a small batch, limited edition ale that was created by our Brewmaster to separate the weak from the strong. 471 is a double IPA, that combines Pale, Munich, Caramel-30, Carapils and Torrified Wheat malts, with Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe and Fuggles hops. It has a big sweet mouthfeel, followed by more hoppiness than you've ever had at one time. Enjoy. (Available at Breckenridge Pubs and Restaurants and bottled as 471 Small Batch Double Hopped IPA.)

Bottle - looks lovely, orange copper pour with a sticky ivory head. Great nose, pine, much resin, sweet citrus, like orange frosting. Medium bodied, plenty of citrus with a tropical edge, a nice bitter breadiness rounds it out. Great beer and very drinkable for the abv.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the Taco Mac in Smyrna, GA. The appearance is a nice orange color with a large white head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is a great hop/alcohol DIPA mix.

It pours a golden orange that is actually more on the orange side. There is an off white moderate head that does produce a fair amount of lacing. It has aromas of Grapefruit and apricot with bread and caramel in the background. There is also a hint of spruce. IT is very sweet up front and bitters while in the mouth. There are grapefruit and apricot flavors with bread and caramel. It has a moderate feel with a moderately bitter finish that is fairly long lasting. Overall it is moderately bitter with strong fruit flavors and moderately malts on the low side.

Enjoyed on tap at Ale House in Grand Junction, CO. I didn't take tasting notes, but remember this being a pretty strong high ABV imperial IPA with lots of citrus. Overall pretty good, would have again.

Amber thin rimming beige head; dank skunk hop aroma ; flava is floral spicy hop with caramel and fruit sweetness; feels medium to thick with foamy fizzy zing; finishes bitter with sweet notes balanced with spice floral hop

Great smell of dank resinous hops, earth, grass and a good amount of honey sweetness. See through dark orange color with a bright white tuft of foam. The taste is honey like up front but contains a hop bite afterwards that lasts well into the aftertaste. The deScription belied a hop bomb, but the real taste is way more balanced. Crushable at 9.2%, not a hint of alcohol. Comparable to Stone RuinTen, not quite as good but tastes similar. Smooth palate, overall very good from Breckenridge, a brewery that has always been hit and miss with me and one that I was definitely skeptical of since they had been bought out by InBev.
