A very nice porter. Mild and rich with a deep chocolately character. Rating imported from 2011.

Tap at Breckenridge BBQ. Pours a brownish abmer with a medium creamy off white lacing head. Aroma of some chocolate, caramel and nuts. Flavor of caramel, toffee, nuts and light hops.

Tmoney99 (14365) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 30, 2009
Bottle from Jungle Jimís. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted coffee, chocolate malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture with soft carbonation. Moderate toasted sweet flavor with a medium toasted sweet malt finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this sweet version to a freind.

BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - AUG 14, 2009
Reddish brown pour with a small eggshell head. The appearance was definitely this beerís weakest link. Aroma was of molasses, dark cocoa, and roasted coffee. Full flavored brew with lots of chocolate, caramel, and toffee...a tad thin for the style but not a bad beer.

3.8
alaskanwarren (286) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2005
Dark Reddish brown with light tan head. Nutty, very malty aroma. Initial taste is smooth malt with more of that nuttiness and sweet grains. Toasted malt and caramel flavors as well. Hints of spiced wine and roasted coffee.. Estery finish that was quite smooth.

BeerandBlues2 (13199) - Escondido, California, USA - JUN 22, 2005
Tap. Pours dark choclolate to black with brown hints and a very small off-white head. Leather and sour malt aromas and flavor, with a hop finish. Dark and full bodied palate.

2.6
Terminus (3679) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 6, 2005
tap at downtown Denver brewpub-pours deep brown, almost black with a small tan head-looks promising! Coffee, cardboard aroma with a slight toffee note as well. Thin body and weak flavors. palate was chakey feeling and offensive. Good lacing however! This needs work.
