The 72 pours dark with a brown head that leaves little lacing. The aroma is fairly weak but malty chocolate goodness and molasses. The flavor is much better than the aroma. Overall this was a nice little surprise. I hope to enjoy more in the future. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

dark black brew with light tan head. nice body thick enough with a flavor of wheat vegetable and then some cherry. bit of smoke wafts in after time but a hint of the first hit kinda sets it back . some saucy gravy (worcestershire) in aroma.

Black pour with brown to red hue, pretty dark cocoa colored head a sixteenth of an inch high. Smells like rich chocolate and coffee. Thin mouthfeel with next to no carbonation. Flavors of maple, caramel, and bourbon maybe? Clean finish with sweet flavors left over. Overall pretty light and kind of sweet, syrupy stout.

Smooth choclatey maltiness. Decent mouth feel. Smooth imperial stout. Not the best but a good choice

Dark brown pour with a medium tan head. aroma is cocoa and vinous dark fruit. Flavour is dark fruits, semi sweet and milk chocolate. Body is a touch light, but the 7% is blended in very well. Some herbal/bakers chocolate bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. 2/15/13. Pours dark brown-black with a fast to fade light brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, hints of dark fruit, sweet and just a bit spicy. Taste is nice; creamy, smooth, brown sugar, chocolate, roast, some coffee. Malt for days with very little bitterness; not many IBUs here. Tastes even more mild than the 7.2% ABV. This I like this. Smooth mouth feel but with a coating sensation. Very little lacing. Well crafted.

This poured a cloudy medium brown color with a beige head. Aroma was lots of chocolate, toosie roll caramel mixed with it, and some whipped cream notes too. Flavor was toosie rolls, nice milk chocolate, and mild roast. A bit thin for a stout, but solid offering from Breckenridge.

12oz bottle pours with a nice dark body that supports a thin mocha colored head of foam. The aroma offers up some sweet dark fruity esters and earthy malts mixing with milk chocolate. The taste is pretty smooth where your senses are hit by a mix of milk chocolate blunted by some dark roasted malts. It then rolls into more chocolate goodness and a light cream soda sensation. Tasty stuff that delivers just what it claims.

12 oz bottle and served in my Pipeworks snifter: Very deep brown, nearly black with a small frothy beige head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of bittersweet chocolate, roast, marshmallows, leather, char and some walnut and lactic acid. The taste is chocolaty without being overly sweet. Some roast, char, lactic and fruity twang and very light herbal bittering hops. The mouth feel is a bit thin for a cream stout in my opinion, a bit metallic IMO. Well this beer is quite quaffable I am left thinking it could have been so much more.
