Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with little retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet oak and vanilla aromas. Medium bodied with sweet bourbon and dark chocolate upfront turning to sweet creamy hot chocolate in the medium length finish. ibrubeer (412) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 5, 2015
Bomber. Somewhat light aroma of wood. Jet black appearance with nice tan head that lingers pretty well. Awesome blend of roastiness, chocolate, and just enough wood aging to meld in perfectly! Full bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel. Overall, a wonderful Imperial Stout! I love how the wood aging isn’t overpowering, but rather adds a great depth to the flavor. weihenweizen (4127) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - JAN 27, 2015
On tap at B&D. Black with dark brown highlights and small brown head. Aroma is roasty, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and thin small-bubble lacing. Taste is nice milk chocolate and some roast. Pretty good sweet stout. AirForceHops (7811) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 26, 2015
12 oz. bottle purchased at 7-11 Kittery, ME. Black pour with some decent tan head, spotty lace down the sides. Aroma is light chocolate candy bar, mild roasted malt, sweet burnt sugar. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - JAN 22, 2015
Flavor is very respectable. Cocoa /chocolate right upfront turning into an ashy roast. The finish gives a hint of vanilla with sweet lactose sugar giving a coffee creamer essence. Secondary mild roast in the background. The body is medium with a decent creamy texture. Honestly for the price this a nice stout. And I’m ALL about getting good craft for a decent price. Well worth a bottle or three.
[Tap] Jet black pour with a khaki colored head. Sweet nose of milk chocolate, cream and a decent amount of coffee. Chocolate syrup, lactose, vanilla and nice charred malty notes in the taste. Silky mouthfeel. Light alcoholic notes in the finish.

Black pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, roasted nuts, a little leather, earth and some pine. Flavor is dark chocolate, roast, light woody notes, earthy leaves, light leather, a little woody char, dry toasted oats, cooked dark fruit, sweet caramel malt, turbinado sugar, a hint of pine and grassy hops. Heavy body, creamy to goopy feel (definitely has the feel of something with lots of oats), light, but sharp, blanketing carbonation. Really tasty stuff, very heavy, filling feel for a 7.2% stout, not sure I’d count that’s as a positive or negative. I like it quite a bit. sturmthis (1195) - Bavaria, GERMANY - JAN 18, 2015

Art & Antiques in Shiner, TX. Bottle poured into pint glass. Pours caramel black with a strong khaki head that lingers. Smells of rich milk chocolate and a touch of malt. Flavor is the same - smooth and creamy. Great taste for the ABV. Would drink again.
