Draught as part of a flight, at the Breckenridge tap room, on October 6, 2012
Clear reddish brown color, tan head. Buttery, acidic, sweet taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Roasted, sweet scent.

Draft - nose is hoppier than I would expect from the style: citrus and pine. Sip adds doubt as to if this was the right beer. I’ll go along with it. Not a brown ale. More of a rye pale ale. Tasty. Malty backbone.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2015 draft that poured a medium brown with eggshell head that lasted. first off this beer is was served way to cold. let it warm up got some mild roasted malts hints of chocolate and coffee. the body is rather thin and the flavor displays more of the aroma. just a basic mild brown ale that is decent but nothing to write home about.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance had a deep roasted brown with a frothy tan head and a nice lacing. The smell had a nutty, roasty, bready, slightly grassy, and caramelly aroma. The taste was nutty, grassy, lightly floral, toffee, toasted malt, and bread. On the palate, there was a smooth lingering vanilla and slightly toasty malty aftertaste that lead to a dry finish. Overall, its a good brown for the most part.

On tap at the brewery in Denver. Pour is deep roasted brown with a frothy tan head and great lacing. Nutty, roasty, bready, slightly grassy, and caramelly aroma. Taste is nutty, grassy, lightly floral, toffee, toasted malt, and bread with a smooth lingering aftertaste. Medium bodied with sod carbonation. Decent brown.

Had this on draft at breckenridge brewery in Denver. Brown light pour. White head. Sweet brown sugar and malty flavor. Light and easy drinking. Ok beer overall

Nightsky (176) - Lutz, Florida, USA - JUL 21, 2012
Aroma was light with notes of brown sugar. Color is a clear but deep dark brown. Taste was toasty and the finish was almost abrupt. Tasted at Breckenridge's Ballpark location in Denver. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma, strangely, had hints of ink. There was a faint sweetness. Small head and light carbonation apparent. Color was a bit too pale. Sweet and toasty, a bit bitter in the finish. Had at Breckenridge ball park pub on 7/21/12.

Camons (13497) - Hasselager, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2012
Tap @ Breckenridge brewpub, Downtown Denver. Pours dark amber, small tan head. Light aroma of malt, caramel, lighy hops. Taste is rather weak with same flavors as aroma had. Thin body, soft carbonation, way to weak taste. 290212

NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Draft at Breckenridge. Pours an attractive deep brown, transluscent, offwhite head. Nose is nice. Nutty and toasty with some grassy English hop notes as well. Crisp and clean nose overall. On tasting, nice level of bitterness, really crisp. Some nice toasty malt notes and a clean overall profile. Really nice NE Brown.
