Draught at Breckenridge Brewery, Breckenridge, CO, October 2012, GABF week. Light haze to a yellow beer. Some yeast in the aroma. Lemon and malt flavor, with some very light hops here as well. A strange beer.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2017 Taps clear topaz with a nice porcelain head. Aroma features crisp malt and zesty apple, typical but pleasing. Flavor adds some resiny hops to the mix promised by the aroma. Mouthfeel features typical fizz and body. A decent lager.

12oz can poured into a Lager Glass at 42. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a nice white head. Aroma is a little grain with a light hop spice note in the back. It has a light body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is light giving just a hint of malt back by a bold bitterness and a bit of hop spice. In the after taste as the bitterness fades the malt seems to stand out a bit more. Overall its not bad, light and easy to drink, just not my kind of brew.

Okay example of a so-so style. Lots of hay and grass. Mild bitterness. Easy drinking at least. Decent lawnmower.

Draft: Fecal hay and grass nose. Hazy golden, medium head, nice lacing. Cleaner hay and grass flavor, rich malt presence. Medium body, harsh mouthfeel. Well hopped, rather like a north German pils

Draught @ Albion. Rich yellow with small frothy white head, faint honey aroma, medium carbonation, thin watery body, abrupt finish. Weak as lagers go.

On tap at The Horseshoe Lounge. Dark gold appearance with a fluffy white head. Malty aroma (cookie, toasted grain, toffee) with notes of light earthy hops. Similar flavor, light to mild caramel malt sweetness and a light hop bitterness. A bit bland, but pretty smooth and easy to drink.

On tap at Earls in downtown Denver. Pour is clear golden straw with a frothy white head and great lacing. Straw, husky, cereal, biscuit, slightly grassy, and corny aroma. Taste is straw, sweet corn, cereal, husky, chalky, lightly grainy, and doughy with a crisp bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Seems pretty clean, though not very exciting.

Tap at WOB Cherry Creek, GABF week. Clear brilliant golden with a thin foamy cap head. Nose is a bit toasty and a little biscuity with nice caramel tones and a curious little fruitiness, like pear or peach or something. The taste is clean and malty with a cracker and toast graininess, pale sweet cereal tones, and a semi-dry leaf hop-tinged finish. Very nice lager!
