2008 Christmas Nothing really outstanding about but this brew but a nice drinking none the less. Drinks smooth with nice balanced flavor a little or no aftertaste. For the price, nice drinking beer.

On tap in Atlanta. Smooth, medium body with medium carbonation. mahogany colored body with a very good off-white head. Spicy aroma that correctly suggests that the the flavor may be a bit over spiced. Slightly bitter although lightly sweet up front. Overall: ok but still disappointing.

Deep Amber brown with little beige head: aroma is malt and vanilla notes; flava is malty grainy with subtle spice and brown sugar notes; feels medium to thick silky with soda like fizz; finishes tangy grassy grain

Pours a medium copper color with a thin tan head. Some caramel and citrus flavor. The finish was kind of dry. Not too bad.

on tap @ Hebron Brewhaus / Hebron KY --- Clear light-medium amber color, off-white head that drops to a thin cover, bands of lace. Taste is malt with loads of spice on the swallow that adds nice light chocolate in the finish. Comes close to a beer version of spiced tea.

I had the pleasure of trying this beer at an event where I noticed a few people drinking it. I went over to the cooler and grabbed one, and to my surprise it was quite yummy. The aroma wasnt strong, and the bottle was a little too busy. It had hints of cloves which I felt was very festive. Overall I would say it was a good choice for a holiday gathering.

Relatively disappointing for me. Mild spice, light body, and a finish that doesnt stand out from the start.

A bit out of season, but a 12oz bottle opened on 1st June 2016 while on holiday on Big Bear Lake, California. I thought this a very pleasant wintery brew and although I drank it in lovely warm sunshine it still hit the spot. Brown bodies with red hue, the head an off-white colour. Subtle spice aroma and taste within the malty based brew, mild chocolate notes from the semi-sweet molasses and definitely a fireside beer more than a sunshine brew.

Draught @ Albion. Reddish brown with small foamy beige head, very faint caramel aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish caramel malt taste, faintly spicy, medium spicy finish. Not bad, not great either.
