COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We like to think this is an ale for everyone who believes you make your own luck. We sure did. And the result is a well-balanced, soulful IPA with just the right amount of hoppiness. An even keeled ale that goes down clean and refreshing, but still lets you know it’s been doted on by the Brewmaster. It’s true to it’s IPA heritage, but also highly drinkable. Lucky U. And we seriously mean that.

I a lighter IPA which tastes like a session ale...surprise to see it is all the way up at 6.2%. Taste is mostly floral hops with medium bitterness. Just enough malt backbone to balance out the hops. Meh.

Rated on 9-20-2013 (Bottle) The appearance of this beer when poured is a small ivory head that is mostly lasting, hazy amber body, very fizzy, fast rising carbonation, a lot of floaties, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, grassy, citrus hops, and a little floral. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus hops, grassy, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is bubbly and this IPA is medium bodied. A quaffable IPA that is not over-the-top hoppy tasting.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is floral and citrusy, some herbs, toasted malt, and toffee. Flavor is similar, some orange flavor too. Thin palate and feel. Ok but not complex.

Tap @ Breckenridge. Deep amber, white head. Hoppy aroma, caramel, apricot, spruce, cheese, orange peel. Off-dry, medium to full bodied, mid to high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, fruity, slightly cheesy taste, apricot, spruce, resin. Decent. (2014-04-05)

Tap at Luckywell. Hazy amber nice head. Flavor isn’t crisp and muddy between hops and malt. Should be better.

On nitro. Pours true amber with a thick creamy off white head. Aroma is sweet with very mild pine. Taste is smooth and muted pine with a long medium bitter finish. An IPA without the bite.
