This American-style, filtered wheat beer combines craft beer charm with lighter beer refreshment. Brewed with a fifty-fifty blend of malted wheat and pale grains, it's a blonde beauty with flavor. Just a hint of Pilsner-style hops gives it the perfect thirst quenching finish. A light beer with life.

Like standing in a Kansas wheat field. A good example of a style I know and love.

From old tasting notes. Hazy pale yellow gold color. Creamy white head. Sharp lemon peel aroma. Crisp dry citrus malt flavor upfront. Spicy bittersweet hop finish.

Indra (2710) - Suburbia, Kansas, USA - OCT 1, 2001
Fairly standard wheat, has a pretty ok hefe flavor but wins no points for originality.

Gusler (2652) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 25, 2002
Pours a clear deep gold, the head is average, white, the lace marginal. Nose has hints of wheat, front is somewhat sweet, the top light, the finish is lightly hopped, mildly acidic, a tad dry, a 'Weak/Watery' concoction that gains little favor with me. Ranks #992 on my current 1000 beer list, with its other brothers/sisters from this brewery.

Foxbush (2140) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 1, 2013
12 oz bottle This was given to me by a friend at Holden Beach. It is a most drinkable ale. The aroma was mild with a hint of orange. The ale poured a nice golden color with a foamy head and lacing. This is a refreshing ale for the beach or golf. It was much better than expected. It is not a complex beverage. The carbonation was average with a medium body. The finish had orange and pale grain.

RSRIZZO (2034) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 21, 2007
Had this beer on 10/15/1998. Color is a lightly hazed pale gold with low carbonation and head. A light sweet aroma. Taste is a light body that goes down bubbly. Finish is a lightly sweet malt flavor.

kyzr (1602) - Montana, USA - FEB 23, 2005
Thick hazy yellow with off-white head. Lite fruity nose. Very lite hop, touches of wheat flavor.

Kaya161 (1142) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 5, 2001
Very light in color. Poured with a small head. Nice wheat flavour with subtle hop notes. Great with a slice of lemon.

erway (1004) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - JUN 11, 2002
A very sub-par wheat. Not enough wheat or yeast and a very one-dimensional beer. Breckenridge seems more interested in maintaining a repor and image with the rich skiers than with making truly remarkable beer.
