COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Dark brown pour, no head. Roasty, smoky, meat aroma. Flavor of chocolate, vanilla, coffee. Slightly bitter, with a smack of ham to it...

Bottle from Garys--the only dark they had for a really cold night. Its fine, just nothing much to it. Pretty smooth, some roast malt flavor. OK.

This is a very, very bitter stout. They should have a bitter stout category since it appears so many oatmeal/imperials seem to taste that way. I wouldnt go out of my way for this, needs way more malt/ABV.

Draft at Madrones in Frederick, MD served in a pint glass; opaque deep dark brown (black) color with thin tan head. Aroma notes of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and some nuttiness. Taste adds more roast, dark chocolate and oatmeal. Medium body, low-moderate carbonation, creamy, dry with quick roast finish. Nice solid oatmeal stout.

12 oz. bottle, from the bottle. Thanks Steve! Big nose of roasted coffee, chalk, and bread. Sweet and overly roasty, with a harsh bitterness. Medium body, creamy, biting, and pleasantly aggressive. This is a mellow and reasonably tasty stout, but a little too roasted and bitter.

Pours clear dark brown with a semi dense beige head. Nose: slight roasty malt, nutty, some chocolate and cold coffee. Taste: very light flavours with light chocolate, light nutty, coffee flavours. Drying aftertaste and a light creamy body. Very light all around.. Very light.
