COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Nitro tap poured very dark black with a big creamy amber head. Aromas of roasted malt and oats. Mouthfeel was very smooth and creamy. Flavors of roasty malt and dark chocolate.

Bottle - this was my first oatmeal stout of any kind, so take this for what it is worth. Excellent frothy head that lasted until the end of the beer. Excellent mouthfeel, very refreshing.

Tap. Pours near black with a tan creamy head and spotty lacing. Dark roasted malt aromas. Dark malt and chocolate flavors, a little roasty. Dark and full bodied palate.

22 oz. Bottle enjoyed on the golf course: Pours a dark brown with a diminshing tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, light coffee and chocolate. Flavor was mostly choco-roast with some hop bite near the finish. Mouthfeel was lighter that I wouldve liked, but still had a bit of chewiness to it.

This a pretty decent oatmeal stout, malty and dark, with a nice head. Not the best oatmeal stout, but it would do if I had no other choice.

Dark, almost black pour. Fairly stout like aroma. Roasted malts, a hint of chocolate. Burnt, slightly bitter finish. A bit porter like in body. I guess if I had to drink breck this would be it.

The bottle poured a BLACK beverage covered by an ample creamy tan head that didnt last very long but left nice lacing on the glass. The aroma was a complex mixture of chocolate, caramel and espresso coffee. The body was light with a creamy texture and average carbonation. The flavor started off with semi-sweet chocolate and coffee and settled to a middle of slightly bitter coffee. The finish was long, bitter and dry.

22 oz bottle. Very black with a small but thick tan head. Aroma is vanilla and chocolate with some roastiness. Taste is nicely hopped but Im not diggin the hops here. Lots of chocolate but not much oatmeal. Funky stuff for sure.

Bottle: Aroma of roasted grains, coffee, and very light chocolate. Pours a dark brown, virtually black, with a small off-white head. Okay lacing. Light chocolate up front with a big roasted coffee and hop finish. There is a light metallic flavor in the background, which is a first for me in a stout. A little thin for a stout.
