COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

The perfect oatmeal stout. Pours like a 40w motor oil! Great balance of sweet and oat. Good smoke notes with that perfect toasted toffee finish you expect from a great oatmeal stout. Thick, rich, and tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours almost black w/ a medium semi creamy froth that stick to the walls leaving snail tracks the way down. Nice thick lacing w/ a full dusty canopy. Aromas of mildly roasted malts and a pinch of charcoal. Full nectar w/ velvety residual effers. Nice! Moderately roasted, thick and creamy, fantastic. No sweetness at all. Bold cocoa, raosted coffee bean, molases. I love this stuff. Theres a defined bittering on the finish w/ a perfect souring component. Perfect balance. The bitter cocoa really lingers on the finish. Highly recommended.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2012 Rich and tasty - you can’t get a better stout. The right balance of malt, chocolate , smokey and coffee notes. Pours pitch dark with a tan head. Almost like eating a good quality chocolate ice cream. Aroma is there but not very pronounced.

Smooth, very little head developed. Tastes silky like a good oatmeal stout should. Aftertaste of oatmeal is present, yet slight. Hints of chocolate mixed in with the prevailing (yet not overpowering at all) coffee flavor. This has been a find for my stout-less summer so far!
