Clear amber color, small off-white head. Barley, fruit sugary aroma. Light bodied. Really watery for this ABV. Light sweetish flavor, honey, green apple, short harsh finish. Quite far from the normal bock.
On tap at Petrol Station. Pours a cloudy amber with paperthin head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is bready malt and raisin. A dark reddish amber bock with a thin off white head. A classy dunkle with lots of nutty malt in aroma, fruity esters and light vanilla. In mouth, a nice sweetish malt with nutty notes, oily mouth feel and bananas. Medium bodied. On tap at Ballpark brewpub 24 Jan. 2009. Drake (14045) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 5, 2012
12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Fair Lakes/Fairfax. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized tan head. Below average head retention. Aroma of toasted caramel malts and a faint herbal note. The taste is odd... tinny, fruity, almost reminiscent of canned tomatoes, with some caramel malts. Thin-medium bodied. Okay....
