This was one, if not the best bock I’ve had. Even my non beer drinking fiance liked it. I plan on making this a regular. stonelis (38) - Kutztown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 15, 2010
Pours a clear amber. Not much of a head. Flavors of malt, caramel and light brown sugar. This is a lighter bodied bock beer, alcohol is not noticable. I would of thought this would rate higher, This is a very easy to drink beer. I could put a few of these away at a summer picnic. Crash (532) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - MAR 22, 2003

A nice drinkable bock that was not over assertive and lended very nicely to the malt side of things. Not my favorite as far as bocks go, but nonetheless it goes really nice along with barbequed chicken.... FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 22, 2009
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vivid ruby red color with a trace of a khaki head. The aroma was faint sweet, tangy and sour malts. The flavor was sweet, tangy, tart and fruity yet malty with a medium length finish. The mouthfeel was thick and smooth. Very good.

Sweet nose of caramel and toasty malt along with a very light touch of floral hops and dark honey. Clear medium-dark amber color with a slight, subsiding head. Flavor is similarly malty and sweet, more toasted, sugary caramel and vague hint of dried fruit on the finish, which also shows a negligible amount of bitterness. Smooth and low in effervescence on the palate, body is medium. Easy to quaff, nearly as easy to forget. nuplastikk (6252) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 9, 2012
12oz bottle. Filtered reddish-brown, thin steady off-white head. Malty, lots of mellow lager tones. Comes off smooth and drinkable, relatively true to style. Maybe a little more hop forward I suppose, but still pretty well balanced. Toasty, some mild fruity tones, but mostly smooth, bready, doughy malt action. I wouldn’t classify it as a Dunkler Bock..more a a straightforward Bock, as the label states. Brandon1989 (660) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - MAR 21, 2012
this beer doesn’t seem to get good ratings here but i am a fan of this beer and find it pretty good. the color is a medium amber with not much head. the smell is mostly of malts and slightly sweet, not much hops at all if any. the taste is pretty decent and i prefer it over a shiner bock. you do taste some of the hops in the taste however which was absent in the smell. zoucrew102 (1869) - - JAN 20, 2013
Aroma is malty with notes of banana. Reddish amber color with decent head that disappears quickly.
