Fairly pronounced aroma of honey. Clear amber, thin head, good lacing. Initially, malty with lime overtones but finishes grassy with a little grain. Not your typical pilsner, or even imperial pilsner, but a damn fine beer. Superb crafting! Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 11, 2013
This poured a pale yellow color with a white head. Aroam was of corn, grass and lots of alcohol. Flavor was sweet pale malt, alcohol and mild noble hops. Stop imperializing pilsners! blutt59 (6579) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 10, 2012
bottled, amber orange color with white foam head, aroma is citrusy strawberry, flavor of mangos, navel orange, smooth slight hoppy finish, nice jgb9348 (6480) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Crystal clear light copper glowing body with a very thin off-white head on top that fades very fast. Aroma of alcohol, metal, fresh hops, grapefruit, pine and a nice pungent strong scent. Medium-bodied; Assertive orange flavour with some other fruits, deep malt, alcohol, a light hoppy flavour and a lot of metallic notes that taste a bit off. Aftertaste shows some depth, but the metallic notes and strong aftertaste shows too much alcohol and bitterness. Overall, an interesting beer, but not great, still worth trying ,especially for the season. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 23-May-2012 for US$2.49 sampled at home in Upstate New York on 26-May-2012. dmac (6459) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - DEC 6, 2013
12oz single from Crossroads. Poured a bit thinner than I was expecting, solid clear gold body with a smaller to almost average sized bright white foamy head. Aroma is dusty chalk, green grape skins, dry bread crusts, corn husk. Body once again is a bit thinner than I was expecting, lighter carbonation and a chalky aftertaste, watery overall. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Blah, not bad but when something claims to be Imperial I’m looking for a "Big" beer not just a tiny bit pumped up.

12oz bottle. Big alcohol laced aroma, sweet and doughy. Peach-orange color, just a hint of haze. A touch of buttery honey, doughy malt tones with a soft noble hop balance. Rather subtle and mellow, despite the sugary ABV. OK. kaser (6382) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 18, 2014
Cloudy light orange pour from draft at headquarters. Tons of fluffy white head. Orange and lemon aromas. Taste is hoppy and bitter for a pilsner. Grapefruity and earthy taste. Pretty good. Served a little warm JPDIPSO (6286) - Wauwatosa, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Clear, deep golden color with a smaller, light cream colored head. Pils aromas, but the hops seem a little to earthy. Pale malt and a freshly watered flower scent. Quite sweet from the start. Quite floral and bits of resin. Feel is full, but somehow I’m not satisfied. Perhaps a bit too acidic. 7/10

Bottle. Amber pour with a short, dense white head. Aroma is mainly floral and grassy hops but has a pleasant malt backbone with soft caramel, biscuit, light lemon and light honey. Taste is bigger biscuit malts, a touch stronger caramel, light honey, grassy and herbal hops, light lemony zest and unsweetened iced tea notes. Body is medium with a strong, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more biscuit, buttery notes, light honey, sweet malt, grassy hops, Euro hops and lemon. Marheb (6193) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 5, 2015
(En fût au O’Brien’s pub): Bonne base sucrée qui se fait trancher rapidement par un gazon frais pour ensuite laisser le maltose miellé remonter en surface. Corpulence confortable, finale fruitée.
