COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The brewmaster's goal: the perfect ale for summertime quaffing, nothing more. SummerBright is the result. The craftsman's touch combines white wheat, two row pale and munich malt with the pacific northwest's most intriguing hops to create a bright, clean ale ideal for picnicking, evenings on the screen porch and enjoying the whims of the summer breeze.

Light citrus flavor with pleasant aroma of citrus peels. Malts are moderate here and the finish is somewhat crisp.

Pours a hazy golden color. Aroma and taste are weak tasting wheat and lemons.

Can into a glass. Pours hazy gold, no real head. Aroma is light citrus, grass, spice, a bit of white bread and butter. Taste is thick and heavy (not great for a summer beer) with a slightly sticky sweet citrusy mouthfeel, like cheap orange juice.

Tap at Lazy Dog. Pours a transparent golden with a ring of cream colored head. Taste of wheat, light malts, and a slight lemon. Aroma of w wheat and malt.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with minimal head. Aroma of grains, light wheat, and a little skunk. Taste is light bitter. Follows aroma with the addition of some light herbal hops. Meh, even for a summer seasonal it’s not that good.

Bad label, standard 12oz longneck. Clear, light gold beer, fluffy white head that collapses down to a layer of oatmeal consistency. Biscuity malts, west coast hop aroma. A little tang up front, followed by hops, then the dryish malting and mineral notes. Unpretentious, definitely meets the brewmasters goal for quaffability. Quick finish. Like I said in my article on summer beers a long time ago - the ideal summer beer doesn’t try to knock one over the fence, but instead is looking for a bunt single in the hot weather. I’m actually bumping this up a little over its probable deserved rating to reflect the achievement of the goal of a congenial summer brew. ABC, Bull Run.

Transfer from BA review on 5-20-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a lightly hazed orange yellow color with a big billowy white head. The head fades quite fast to give a nice level of lacing. Smell – Aromas of wheat and yeast are the most heavy. There are aromas of some lighter citrus mixed within. Lemon and a very light grapefruit. Taste – A very light wheat flavor greets the tongue. This is mixed with a little bit of lemon citrus. As the flavor advances some lighter flavors of yeast and spice come to the tongue. These take to the taste to the end leaving a semi-sweet citrus wheat flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The brew is light in body and higher in carbonation. Very fitting for the style. The bubbles excite while the body makes it very easy to drink. Overall – A nice light god session beer for the summer months. It is perfect for sitting outside and enjoying in the presence of friends over a long evening. If looking for something intensely flavorful however this is a beer to avoid.

Bottle. Light beer all around with some mild fruit notes. Body is weak but not overly thin, decent aroma. Option for drinking eight from can on a hot day.

On tap. Hazy golden color with one finger head. Wheat taste with lemon finish. Pretty weak flavor. Eh beer.
