On nitro draft at the ballpark brewpub. Pour is fine bubbled, khaki, as you’d expect from a nitro tap. Cola brown with a hint of amber; its tough to get past the head on this one; anyway, the nose is cream, obviously, and sweet caramel, and a hint of cocoa. The flavor profile has a bitterness from the hop profile, a light smoked element, cocoa, and a bit of grain from the oatmeal. Its a nice drinker, actually. durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 20, 2011
On tap at Smokin’ Dave’s BBQ in Estes Park, CO. Pours nearly black with a one-finger tan head. Nose is chocolate, light coffee, mild roast, and some nuts. Smells sweet and the taste confirms it. A bit thin and pretty average, bit good with my brisket. crossovert (13413) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 9, 2011
