On tap somewhere in Denver hanging with the New Belgium Denver crew. Pours a jet black with milky frothy head. tastes of leather, cola, coffee, burnt malt, maybe some pears. a comforting late night beer to ease me off all the gin and tonics I had been consuming. durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 20, 2011
On tap at Smokin’ Dave’s BBQ in Estes Park, CO. Pours nearly black with a one-finger tan head. Nose is chocolate, light coffee, mild roast, and some nuts. Smells sweet and the taste confirms it. A bit thin and pretty average, bit good with my brisket. jeremyjojola (20) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 24, 2013
Out of the tap at the Ale House in Denver. Looks fantastic with a thick, fine frothy head. Hints of chocolate. Clean after taste. Not too heavy.

on to the good stuff. A nice dark almost black color. A good yellowish head. Sort of a mix of dry and sweet stout flavors.

Tap at Breckenridge BBQ. Nitro pours a deep brown with a great creamy tan head. Aroma of light chocolate, vanilla and toffee. Flavor of chocolate, toffee, caramel and nuts. mar (5410) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 13, 2010
Pitch black with a nitro creamy tan head. Nose is chocolate, dried malts, light roastiness, and fruit. Not bad on the palate, flavor is big fruits upfront, roasty in the middle, and a sweet finish. crossovert (12670) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 9, 2011
On tap, it is a thick and smoky stout with nice roasty notes and a hint of sweetness. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Nitro at Breckenridge. Pours a deep brown with a tan head, cascade, blah blah blah. Pretty generic appearance. Nose is faint hops, nice level of roast and chocolate, but difficult to discern due to the nitro head. On tasting, nice dryness, creamy palate. Good bitterness and a nice chocolate profile. Pretty decent stout overall. Could use more roast and robustness. AirForceHops (7144) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 4, 2013
Draft @ Doherty’s East Ave Irish Pub. On 2 Feb 2013. Black color with nice thick tan foam sitting on the surface. Aroma is very burnt coffee grounds, bitter chocolate and a faint hop. I was told this was a low ABV stout, if that is so then it has nice flavor. Brunt malts, chocolate with caramel. The nitro pour does give it a nice creamy texture. Overall good but not amazing.
