I love ❤️ this porter! It poured a dark brown, almost black color, with a medium size head. The aroma was of caramel...that was all I could discern with my old nose. The first sip provided a taste of vanilla, caramel and malt. I think it could use more malt, as it was a bit watery, however that led to it being a very drinkable beer. I would definitly buy this again! unclefrito62 (305) - Stow, Ohio, USA - JAN 12, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Scent of vanilla and malt.Dark brown in color with beige head. Taste of vanilla. Smooth with medium mouth feel. Very nice porter. njnut (486) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JAN 3, 2017
Poured at bar a deep dark brown with surprisingly white head. Aroma was mostly vanilla. Taste was like a vanilla cookie covered in dark Coco.
Some malts but it was
Just too vanilla heavy for me. Mouthfeel was much lighter then expected. Andrew196 (1944) - Katy, Texas, USA - DEC 17, 2016
Bottle to tulip - black with a bone colored head. Aroma is plain dark roast with cocoa powder. Kinda thin on the tongue for what it is. Cockchafer, vanilla bean, cardboard, awkward bitterness. Very brewpubish. k0mpsa (3028) - Tuusula, FINLAND - OCT 21, 2016
Tap at brewburgers, venice. Black color, white head. Roasty aroma has some vanilla notes. Nice balanced roasty body, nice note of vanilla, some coffee. Good balance.

Dark, reddish brown pour with large, thin beige foam. Roasted and caramel malt in the nose with vanilla and a little chocolate. Medium body, slightly slick and thin fizz. The vanilla is subtle at first, but emerges as it warms. Rich, with a long finish. A good winter beer, heavier than a brown, lighter than a stout. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - OCT 6, 2016
Poured from a 16 Oz can into a pint glass at the Taco Mac in Cumberland, GA. Has the great cascading nitro look. the taste was very one dimensional and had no "back end". ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 5, 2016
12oz bottle. Pours a medium brown color with an inch tan head that left a couple rings of lacing. Smell is vanilla, coffee and chocolate. Taste follows the smell with vanilla first and foremost followed by coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, nuts and malt. Lightly carbonated, mouthfeel is thin, a bit watery nasmith003 (252) - Virginia, USA - OCT 1, 2016
From the bottle. Light malt and vanilla aroma. Dark brown opaque color with a decent head. Full flavored but with a weak mouthfeel. Finishes clean. Bosbouw (2955) - Gemonde, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2016
Roodbruine kleur met een goede lichtbruine kraag. Ruikt vol, zoetig, vanille, drop, toffee. Smaakt vol, vanille, koffie, kruiden. Zachte vanille smaak.
