355ml bottle from The Perfect Pour. Pours a very dark brown with reddish tinges, and a tan head. Scent strongly indicates vanilla, some roast maltiness coming through. Flavor is strongly vanilla as well, with more usual stout aspects supporting. Only a little sweet, and with a dry finish. Nothing complex going on, but very drinkable. There are many vanilla porters out there with varying degrees of deliciousness. This BB vanilla porter is one of the best.

Tasting flight at the taproom in Denver.
Cola black with a light beige head. The aroma is soft pats, vanilla and chocolate. Nice. Smooth luscious body which is probably all down to the Nitro. The taste is sugary sweet vanilla that seems like extract plus chewey oat like malt character. Alright but I can’t believe the best beer I had here was a boring amber ale. These guys brew macro-style craft...

This is a fun beer. Not pretentious, just easily approachable porter with vanilla aroma. Perfect with vanilla ice cream. Good dark malt, low hop bitterness and real vanilla aroma. Nice Gespuccian (141) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 23, 2016
Pour is a kind of reddish brown, transparent, with a finger of head that dissipates pretty quickly. Nose is sweet vanilla and a little bit of roast. Taste is heavy on the sweet vanilla, with a little bit of roasty malt in for some backbone. This just doesn’t say porter to me. Stuu666 (13123) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 19, 2016
Bottle at craig’s. Pours deep brown, nose is vanilla, toffee, chocolate, cola, taste is vanilla, toffee, little thin. allmyvinyl (10508) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 19, 2016
Bottle at Craigs 2016 alldayer. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of treacle, nuts. Taste is thin, nutty, chocolate finish. KCWarrior (9) - Kansas, USA - MAR 19, 2016 does not count
Great vanilla bean smell at pour. Sweet, almost a desert beer smell. Finishes as an average vanilla porter.
