Who would have thought deep in the jungles of Papua New Guinea and Madagascar grew the perfect ingredient to build an extraordinary Porter in Colorado? An ale that has all the chocolate and roasted nut flavor of a classic Porter, with an enigmatic surprise thrown in for good measure, real vanilla bean. Breckenridge Brewerys Vanilla Porter. A vanilla kiss in a rich, dark sea.

An interesting beer to try! I thought it would be too sweet but it turns out to have quite a good balance! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great color with nice cream colored head. Faints smells of the vanilla with malt and chocolate. Flavor is not very strong. You get some notes of vanilla and bitter chocolate but is very weak. Body is very thin leaving a little more to be desired. Overall it is a good option for someone just getting into Porters but comes up short for those that really enjoy them.

Dark, smooth, a little sweet but not too much so. Great vanilla flavour with no unpleasant aftertaste. Good if you like porters but want something a little more sweet.

I love ❤️ this porter! It poured a dark brown, almost black color, with a medium size head. The aroma was of caramel...that was all I could discern with my old nose. The first sip provided a taste of vanilla, caramel and malt. I think it could use more malt, as it was a bit watery, however that led to it being a very drinkable beer. I would definitly buy this again!

Very mild, has an abrupt aftertaste with notes of sour hops. Very drinkable, and not too fizzy. The bottle is a little boring. Tastes like it would be good with a burrito or a taco of some sort. I probably would not drink too many of these back to back, as it does not have a particularly memorable flavor profile.

Poured at bar a deep dark brown with surprisingly white head. Aroma was mostly vanilla. Taste was like a vanilla cookie covered in dark Coco. Some malts but it was Just too vanilla heavy for me. Mouthfeel was much lighter then expected.

Bottle to tulip - black with a bone colored head. Aroma is plain dark roast with cocoa powder. Kinda thin on the tongue for what it is. Cockchafer, vanilla bean, cardboard, awkward bitterness. Very brewpubish.

Tap at brewburgers, venice. Black color, white head. Roasty aroma has some vanilla notes. Nice balanced roasty body, nice note of vanilla, some coffee. Good balance.

Dark, reddish brown pour with large, thin beige foam. Roasted and caramel malt in the nose with vanilla and a little chocolate. Medium body, slightly slick and thin fizz. The vanilla is subtle at first, but emerges as it warms. Rich, with a long finish. A good winter beer, heavier than a brown, lighter than a stout.

Poured from a 16 Oz can into a pint glass at the Taco Mac in Cumberland, GA. Has the great cascading nitro look. the taste was very one dimensional and had no "back end".
