COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Who would have thought deep in the jungles of Papua New Guinea and Madagascar grew the perfect ingredient to build an extraordinary Porter in Colorado? An ale that has all the chocolate and roasted nut flavor of a classic Porter, with an enigmatic surprise thrown in for good measure, real vanilla bean. Breckenridge Brewerys Vanilla Porter. A vanilla kiss in a rich, dark sea.

Pours a dark brown with medium tan head, decent lacing. Flavor strong of vanilla, roasted malt, and not a lot else. Flavor is bordering cloyingly sweet, but not bad otherwise.

vanilla notes are sparse but taste very authentic. its really just a hint of it tho, I wish they bumped it up a notch. otherwise a very typical simple porter. Its heavy on the dry side, and im not a big fan of dry beers.

Pours dark brown with small head. Aroma: caramel, roasted malt, some dried fruit. Taste: caramel dominates, some roastiness and maybe a slight touch of vanilla.

Really tasty, well balanced 5.4% porter. The nose features chocolate milk, vanilla, roasted malt and vanilla. Lots of the same in a nice creamy mix in the taste profile. Touches of coffee, caramel, almonds and other nuts, and tea round out a smooth taste experience. A really nice brew. Its obviously hard to get good ratings with the ratebeer crowd unless you are a hop bomb or an Imperial Stout. Pity.

Loved it. Bottle was so much better than the barbeque it went with. Tasted like dessert, liked the low alcohol content, loved the flavor. Was it just the company?

Great color with nice cream colored head. Faints smells of the vanilla with malt and chocolate. Flavor is not very strong. You get some notes of vanilla and bitter chocolate but is very weak. Body is very thin leaving a little more to be desired. Overall it is a good option for someone just getting into Porters but comes up short for those that really enjoy them.

Dark, smooth, a little sweet but not too much so. Great vanilla flavour with no unpleasant aftertaste. Good if you like porters but want something a little more sweet.

I love ❤️ this porter! It poured a dark brown, almost black color, with a medium size head. The aroma was of caramel...that was all I could discern with my old nose. The first sip provided a taste of vanilla, caramel and malt. I think it could use more malt, as it was a bit watery, however that led to it being a very drinkable beer. I would definitly buy this again!

Poured at bar a deep dark brown with surprisingly white head. Aroma was mostly vanilla. Taste was like a vanilla cookie covered in dark Coco. Some malts but it was Just too vanilla heavy for me. Mouthfeel was much lighter then expected.

Bottle to tulip - black with a bone colored head. Aroma is plain dark roast with cocoa powder. Kinda thin on the tongue for what it is. Cockchafer, vanilla bean, cardboard, awkward bitterness. Very brewpubish.
