COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Oranjeboom, Rotterdam (Netherlands) until the early 90ís. After the closing of Oranjeboom production was moved to Breda (Netherlands). This brewery was called Verenigde Bierbrouwerijen Breda-Rotterdam at that time and soon to be renamed to Oranjeboom Brouwerij. The Breda Royal brand however always still mentioned United Dutch Breweries (wich translates to Verenigde Brouwerijen). On closing of Oranjeboom Brouwerij, Breda in 2004 by InBev production was moved to both Bremen and Leuven. Until 2008 when Randalls acquired the licence. Some production is also done at Hofbrauhaus Wolters (under the name Getršnkeindustrie Altewiek).

Can (brewed 14.07.2005)
Clear golden color, creamy white head. Ashy, grassy hoppy nose, like in some N/A beers. Light lager with plain malty base and woody hopping. Similar to many cheap German supermarket lagers. A bit hoppy aftertaste.

Can, in Hong Kong. Well, this can says "Brewed in the EU", which rules out this particular sample coming from Randalls in Guernsey. But it doesnít get any more specific so itís tough to know where it comes from. Golden colour but flat. Light malt and mossy hops on the nose. Light hops and hints of bread on the palate. Nothing too offensive.
