COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Oranjeboom, Rotterdam (Netherlands) until the early 90’s. After the closing of Oranjeboom production was moved to Breda (Netherlands). This brewery was called Verenigde Bierbrouwerijen Breda-Rotterdam at that time and soon to be renamed to Oranjeboom Brouwerij. The Breda Royal brand however always still mentioned United Dutch Breweries (wich translates to Verenigde Brouwerijen). On closing of Oranjeboom Brouwerij, Breda in 2004 by InBev production was moved to both Bremen and Leuven. Until 2008 when Randalls acquired the licence. Some production is also done at Hofbrauhaus Wolters (under the name Getränkeindustrie Altewiek).

A large can from Simplemart down the road. Aroma: bready. Appearance: clear, golden, minimal head. Palate: light-bodied and slightly oily, average carbonation. Bitter, fairly abrubt finish. Taste: medium bitter, quite refreshing, inoffensive.

bkurtz (1134) - LITHUANIA - MAR 1, 2017
Pours a clear gold with a macro head. Some noticeable malts and smooth. Nothing offensive, just an average macro, but one the best beers available in Morocco.

Grumbo (3968) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2017
Historic rating, tried this when in Guernsey. Poured a clear golden colour with an average sized white head. Aroma of malt, and cereals. Quite heavy sweet malt taste and light bitterness. Light to medium body, some oiliness to texture. Average+ carbonation. Very ordinary.

Can 0.5l sample at Samo Pivo Belgrade, Serbia. 20.07.2016. Small tasting with Ogi and Vlada. Pour it clear golden color with small white head. Aroma funky malty note. Taste watery, with punch of funky soapy, eggy feel. Hm!

MohaBeer (285) - Lima, PERU - MAY 23, 2016
Dorado intenso con transparencia, buena espuma y retención. Malta maltoso moderado, diacetilo, DMS, lúpulo herbal bajo-nulo. En boca malta maltoso moderado-moderado alto, diacetilo, DMS, lúpulo herbal bajo. Final maltoso prolongado, cuerpo bajo, carbonatación baja. Correcta dentro del estilo.

Pours a couple fingers of head on a hazy straw body. The aroma is wheat, rice and cotton candy. Taste is sweet throughout. Texture is a little sticky. Not great.
