Clear dark red brown color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, berry, leather - brett, wood, light chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark dark roasted, ash, wood, tart, roasted bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is fizzy. [20141124]

Bottle, 33 cl. Thick, ashy black with a a very decent, creamy beige head. Nose is burnt and roasted charcoal malty with notes of herbal hops. Medium body and very thick in texture. You can almost cut the beer into slices with a knife. Brett is not detectable. Dry and dark bready. Licorice. Roasted bitter finish. Very nice and extremely flavorful.

Bottle. Pours black with a slowly diminishing tan medium head. Aroma is roasted malt, very mild smoke, caramel, light burnt, licorice, coffee. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light+, texture is watery/oily, carbonation is moderate. Finishes dry with licorice. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Black with a beige head. Roasted malt, burnt, charcoal, light herbal hoppy, fruity. Medium body, light/medium bitter with little sweetness. Dry. Carbonation is a bit high and difficult to find any brett, but nice porter overall.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a frothy and very dense light brown head with excellent retention. Sweet vanillaish roast with only the slightest hint of funk. Medium body, lovely, pleasant roast, thick and friendly. Some late coffee accents. No Brett notes to speak of really. 120713

Flaska frn Mikkeller&Friends. Kolsvart, hgt mrkbeiget skum. Hrdrostade aromer av svartbrd, mrk torkad frukt, soja och lakrits. Syrlig smak som dljer en del av stman som finns dr, ltt beska och rejlt rostade smaker av lakrits, kakao och soja men trots det en ltthet i anslaget som gr den drickvnlig trots sina stora smaker. Riktigt fin!

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, alcohol, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of iodine, roasted malt, wood, chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is light.
