3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330mL bottle, bonused to me by siranselm (thanks a lot, Marcus), pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of brett upfront, along with secondary notes of mangos and apples. Flavour brings out loads of brett upfront, along with other Belgian yeasts, followed by apples and subtle mango notes. Quite wild and bretty, but also very light fruity. Light body and highly drinkable, with the brett dominating.
330 ML bottle from Baguio
Gushed when opened. Lost 1/4 of bottle. Hazy white orange color. No head once settled down. No lacing, not very active.
Nose was Mango, Apple, oak, white wine, and vinegar. Mango got more obvious as it warmed, really fruit presence picked up a whole lot more.
Taste once it warmed was mango, apple, some funk, some vinegar, oak, and white wine. Last 1/4 of bottle got more interesting as the Brett started picking up. Not real sour but had some flashes. Fruit component was good but needed more. zvikar (6464) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - SEP 26, 2014

Bottle shared at the chriso 2013 pre-GBBF shindig - London. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a light, white foam head. Funky nose with dank apple notes. Light sweet flavor, definitely dank and funky, with some dried out tropical fruits. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. More dry tropical fruits to finish and moderately dusty brett. OK. jackl (8423) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 7, 2014
Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. Gold pour with a small white head. Honey lemon tea nose. Some earthy grass. The taste is on the lower end of the funk spectrum. Light acidity. Lemon, pear, honeyed cereal. Dry brett finish. Light body, soft carbonation. A pleasing change of pace. olio (10549) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 4, 2014
