COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brekeriet White Label
Brekeriet Cassis is a sour ale mainly fermented with Brettanomyces yeast. Black currant is added during the secondary fermentation and this yeast loves berries which is shown in the fantastic taste of the beer. Brekeriet Cassis is refermented in the bottle which gives a thin layer of yeast at the bottom of the bottle.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2015 Very strong blackcurrant aroma, some yeast with some citrusy tones. Taste is loaded with blackcurrant, brett, slightly tart, not very sour, very dry, super fruity, and stupidly good, but a bit one sided.

Bottle @ GT Cats Cabana. Thanks, GT. Bright red pour with a short lived pink head. Nice funky blue cheese nose. Plenty of currants, berry, some lemon, pineapple, and starfruit. A bit of lemon zest as well. Nice sourness on the palate. Tons of tropical fruit, currants, and citrus. Lemon, some blue cheese, and berry. Solid stuff.
