Superb beer, loads of raspberries - both seeds and flesh. Some sour notes, no acetic acid. Superb drinkability, great depth to a fairly simple sour ale. Lovely.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2017 23.03.2017, 0,33l bottle shared with friends @ local tasting:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is fresh sour-ish mineraly, sour dusty raspberries, minerals, grass, soda powder, berry skin, rubber, flowers, hay, brett. Taste is slightly sour-ish dry mineraly, weeds, hay, berry skin, minerals, sawdust, grass, sour dusty raspberries, paper, fruit stones, rubber. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Kind of weird.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light pink body with a small white head. Nose is raspberries, barnyard funk, vanilla, water melon, peaches and hints of lemon, lime peel and wet grass. Taste is raspberries, red fruits, water melon, wood, burnt plastic, bretty funk notes and hints of wet grass and hay. Light body, medium to soft carbonation. Decent enough, but it somehow lacks a bit of oomph in both the berry and sour department. And the burnt plastic yeast tones from the sour fermentation doesn’t help either.

Erzengel (10257) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2017
Many thanks to Nisse666 for this bottle! Fresh sourish horse-blanket nose. The beer starts fresh with grapefruity-sourness, smooth mild body with horse-blanket and ripe fermented raspberries in the aftertaste. Th raspberries are not too intense, the sourness is low. Refreshing smooth brew, fruity sourish and mild. Nice.
